Hey all. My partner and I are of an age where shoe comfort is becoming more of a priority. I am navigating this challenging time fairly well but she is having problems with squeaking. She is up to her third pair of comfortable work shoes that squeak so much that it bothers her and her colleagues. It seems as though the shoe + tiled floor combo is making the annoying noise. The floor cannot be changed (it’s a tile shop) and the shoes don’t squeak at home on our floorboards. Does anyone have a remedy for this problem? She went to a cobbler who offered no useful advice. I’m thinking a grip tape of sorts to go between the shoe and tile? Maybe sandpaper? Pls help.
