I’m tired of spending $100–$200 on boots, walking shoes, and sandals that wear out after just a couple of years (or even sooner). I take good care of my shoes, and I don’t wear any single pair every day, but I still find myself constantly replacing them.
I’m looking for shoes that are:
Durable – Something that won’t fall apart within a year or two.
Basic but stylish – Versatile enough to go with most outfits.
Functional and comfortable – Good for walking and everyday wear.
(Bonus) Repairable – If they can be resoled or maintained over time, even better.
I’ve had everything from big-name brands (like Timberland) to handmade walking shoes, and nothing seems to hold up. What brands or specific models have actually lasted for you? Would love to hear recommendations for boots, everyday walking shoes, and sandals.
