Nike SB return policy

So I got some nike skateboard shoes, there’s a 60 day return period “for any reason (except some).” The issue is I’m not sure how they’ll feel to skate in til I skate in them, but I could damage them in doing so. So, do y’all think I could return them even if I scuffed them?
