I really need help finding a good shoe/boot that’s non slip for work. I work at a McDonald’s and the floors are concrete, it’s very painful for my feet and knees in my current shoes and I need a replacement so I’m looking for any ideas of what to start looking for. TIA!

I’m a 17 year old girl who will be 18 in august, im 5’8.5 (174cm), and i was 5’7 last year… i think i have been a shoe size 6 for a while but was squeezing into a 5 as i had shoe size 5 for YEARS. I have some jordan’s which were quite expensive, slightly big as i brought a size 7 and im a 6.5 on one foot, 6 on the other, but now i’m scared i grow out of a 7, but a 7 is half a size too big for me at the moment so i will be buying insoles for them, and if i do grow i can take them out and get my wear and moneys worth. I have air force 1s and a 6 fits me great, even though one foot is 6.5 and one is 6. why do shoes and foot sizes get complicated in adulthood? 😭 will i grow any more? i just want to have my shoes until they’re battered, not growing out of them 😢 I heard your feet grow before your height so i’m hoping that’s the case and i’ve stopped growing my feet, and i just grow taller😭some size 6 is massive on me though, for example i have doc martens, which slide off my feet, and even my air forces slide off, then i have some uggs, which i can feel my toe being near the edge of my bigger foot, and my nike blazers feel slightly small on the bigger foot, same with my converse 💔 I get all my shoes off vinted for £20 so i’m not paying expensive for brand new shoes i’ll grow out of so i’m trying to get my wear out of all my new shoes, i did get my jordan’s brand new though, this is so stressful trying to mix my shoe rotation

Hello, I've never posted or even looked at this sub but i need help so ill try and keep it short. LF regular everyday sneakers i can wear running/gym/whatever.

I'm a tall guy who wears size 17 shoes. already difficult to find. in addition, i am flat-footed and MUST have my orthopedic inserts in or i will start feeling ankle pain in less than a mile of running/jogging. I need help finding shoes and this is a difficult task with those two qualifications. a couple years ago i used to wear under armor sneakers that i REALLY REALLY liked, however they started gluing their soles inside of their shoes so I couldn't put mine in. now i have some jordans that are okay, however they have started chafing at the side of my left foot and have become quite uncomfortable. Admittedly this was the case near the start of wearing them but i ignored it because i hate shoe shopping because nothing fits right.

So the question would be, what website should i be checking to find new shoes? any particular brand that might be similar to underarmor that arent idiots who glue the sole down? i usually went to bigshoes.com but their selection is not great.

I also preferred high-ankled ones like basketball shoes for the moderate amount of extra support they provide.
Nike shoes i try to stay away from because every time ive tried them theyve been too small or too loose. not sure what it is.

Yes I know I'm not a Shoe person like most of the people who are in this sub, just hoping for some advice.
