I’ve been becoming more and more aware of my shoes taking up space. There are pairs I haven’t even worn for more than a year. At this point I’ve been contemplating selling or giving away some of my neglected pairs and just keeping one of each category I can see myself using. So I wanted to ask this, lets say you had to cut down your footwear to just one pair per style/type. What would your picks be?
Sneakers: Your go to wear for everything.
Boots: The rugged wear choice.
Sandals/summer wear: Casual wear easy to wear options.
Dress shoes: When you want to suit up.
Any other category you deem important
Personally I would go with Jordans for daily wear either jordan 6s or 34s. Basketball shoes are great imo they have great cushion and grip and they look great for almost anything.
Boots in my mind are working shoes or hiking or anything that needs durability and safety. I would go with my caterpillar pair with a goodyear welt. Rugged and durable enough, and I don’t need any extreme protection as I only wear them like 20-ish times a year. Maybe a solovair pair if I wanted more style
Sandals: Don’t have a lot of experience but I have been using a mix of harimari and rainbow for a few years now and havent gotten a reason to look elsewhere. Would be a choice between Rainbow for leather sandals, or harimari for waterproof slippers
Dress shoes: Again, not my strong suit. I get to wear these like 3-5 times a year but I bought Allen edmond plain toes and I have been using them for years now.
If you had to pick one in each category what would you pick?

Yo, anybody know if this store is legit? Found these vans for real cheap, but idk if it's a scam or not.

I’m not too knowledgeable about shoes and figured this would be a good place to ask. I’m looking for recommendations on some decent shoes for work, but I have some specific requirements. Here’s what I’m looking for:
I work as a soft drink sales rep. So I need something that looks professional. Not necessarily a straight up dress shoe but close. I typically wear khakis or slacks with a polo or button up. Maybe a dress sneaker or dress boot, or some kind of hybrid dress shoe if that’s a thing?
My work takes me into a lot of dirty back rooms and walk in coolers, there’s a lot of bending down and crouching, and working with drinks, spills are not uncommon. So I want something that is durable and preferably has a rubber sole with some grip.
I also have plantar fasciitis so it needs to have decent support (my plantar fasciitis is not nearly as bad as it was since I lost a bunch of weight, so I don’t need an orthopedic shoe shoe or anything like that, but decent support would still be nice).
I’ve tried a number of styles from different brands. Most recently I tried the Dockers Cooper Oxfords but they started falling apart within months. I know those are probably not particularly high quality since Dockers is not primarily a shoe company, but as I said, I know very little about shoes so I didn’t feel comfortable spending a lot of money on something I wasn’t sure about, especially considering my very specific needs, but I would be willing to spend the money if I had some good recommendations.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi, i have an issue with the way my right foot is shaped (idk if that's the right way to describe it) where my ankle rolls a bit every time i take step. i have walking shoes that provide enough support, but I am in need in house shoes/slippers that can provide the same type of support. Nothing i've tried has worked for me. I could use some recommendations, whether it be some kind of brace, or a particular shoe/slipper.
any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone, I work in the corporate sector and have been obsessed with loafers and loafer heels. I like loafers with a bit of a chunkiness to them (not too flat). But everything I wear hurts my right foot since I have a bunion on that foot and it’s a bit wide. Where can I get the best loafers and loafer heels for wide feet that also don’t look cheap?
